Image Generation Prompt
Create a polished two-page Japanese educational comedy manga spread in a modern Japanese anime manga style.
The work should feel like a professionally produced Japanese educational manga combined with a technical infographic.
Use high-quality semi-realistic anime proportions, elegant character design, clean linework, natural anatomy, expressive eyes, detailed backgrounds, readable speech balloons, and carefully designed technical diagrams.
The comedy should be subtle and deadpan rather than slapstick.
Do NOT use chibi proportions.
Do NOT use super-deformed characters.
Do NOT make the characters photorealistic.
Do NOT make the male assistant muscular, rugged, macho, or middle-aged.
The central comedy comes from the contrast between serious historical/technical explanations and the increasingly mischievous behavior of the beautiful female lecturer.
OVERALL FORMAT
Create exactly TWO manga pages presented as one coherent two-page spread.
PAGE 1
Six panels arranged clearly in a readable manga layout.
Panel sequence:
1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6
Page 1 focuses on:
introduction
appearance of the 5.25-inch floppy disk
comparison with the 8-inch floppy
famous cocktail-napkin anecdote
original 110KB capacity
Konomi's first increasingly personal joke
PAGE 2
Four larger manga panels followed by a large text-based explanation section outside the panels.
Panel sequence:
1 → 2 → 3 → 4
Page 2 focuses on:
Apple II Disk II
rapid adoption during the 1980s
lower prices and increased capacity
half-height drives
rapid expansion of Japanese manufacturers
Japan–U.S. trade friction
final joke between Konomi and Tetsuo
The bottom section of Page 2 is a dedicated factual explanation area.
TITLE
At the top of the spread, prominently display:
「いまさら聞けないことを聞ける講座」
Subtitle:
SERIES CONCEPT
The lecture series is called:
「いまさら聞けないことを聞ける講座」
Concept:
The lecturer is female so that people of any gender can attend.
She inexplicably wears a white laboratory coat because:
「白衣を着ている人は何か知っていそうだから」
She also wears glasses and is inexplicably beautiful.
The assistant is male, inexplicably young and cute.
His youthfulness is:
This premise should be conveyed visually through the character design and subtle comedy.
MAIN CHARACTERS
Kaizetsu Konomi
Adult Japanese woman.
Beautiful and elegant.
Long brown hair.
Glasses.
White laboratory coat.
Professional lecturer appearance.
She initially appears intelligent, calm, and academically serious.
However, as the manga progresses, she gradually reveals a mischievous and teasing personality.
IMPORTANT CHARACTER DIRECTION:
Konomi must NOT look flirtatious in every panel.
Her expressions must evolve gradually:
Panel 1:
Natural professional smile.
Panel 2:
Completely serious lecturer mode.
Panel 3:
Warm explanatory smile.
Panel 4:
Playful wink with hearts.
Panel 5:
Calm explanatory expression.
Panel 6:
Mischievous smile with slightly protruding tongue.
Page 2 Panel 1:
Professional explanatory smile.
Page 2 Panel 2:
Small-devil “ムフフ” expression.
Page 2 Panel 3:
Serious explanatory expression.
Page 2 Panel 4:
Strongest mischievous expression: wink, slightly flushed cheeks, tiny tongue-out expression.
The progression should feel intentional.
Kuroko Tetsuo
Young Japanese male assistant.
Cute youthful appearance.
Brown/dark brown slightly tousled hair.
White laboratory coat.
No glasses.
Slim build.
Gentle and earnest personality.
He is not macho.
His reactions become increasingly overwhelmed by Konomi's teasing.
His expressions should provide the deadpan counterpoint to Konomi.
PAGE 1
PANEL 1 — INTRODUCTION
Konomi smiles naturally and professionally.
Tetsuo also smiles naturally while looking toward Konomi.
Behind them is a monitor displaying a realistic 5.25-inch floppy disk drive.
Konomi says:
Tetsuo says:
The monitor should clearly show a 5.25-inch floppy disk drive.
This panel establishes a serious educational atmosphere.
PANEL 2 — 8-INCH VS 5.25-INCH
Konomi is pointing with a pointer toward a monitor displaying a side-by-side comparison of:
「8インチフロッピーディスクドライブ」
and
IMPORTANT:
Konomi must be COMPLETELY SERIOUS here.
No wink.
No hearts.
No mischievous smile.
No flirtatious expression.
No romantic body language.
She should look like a serious university lecturer explaining an important technical subject.
Konomi:
Tetsuo, impressed:
Konomi:
Tetsuo:
The monitor should visually emphasize how much larger the 8-inch drive is.
PANEL 3 — WHY THIS SIZE?
Tetsuo turns toward Konomi with genuine curiosity.
Tetsuo:
Konomi faces Tetsuo with a warm explanatory smile.
She explains the famous anecdote:
「依頼企業と開発企業の方がバーで打ち合わせをしていた際に手元にあったカクテルナプキンのサイズが丁度5.25インチという有名な逸話があります。」
Tetsuo:
Include a small visual inset or monitor graphic showing:
a cocktail napkin
approximately 5.25 inches / 13.3 cm
a 5.25-inch floppy disk
The monitor/inset should support the explanation without overpowering the character interaction.
PANEL 4 — FIRST PLAYFUL ESCALATION
Konomi looks directly toward Tetsuo.
She gives a clear playful wink.
Small floating heart symbols appear around her.
Her expression is mischievous and teasing but elegant.
Konomi:
Tetsuo faces her with his mouth open, flushed cheeks, and an exaggerated surprised gesture.
Tetsuo:
This is the first unmistakable moment when Konomi's personality shifts from lecturer to teasing little devil.
Keep the comedy subtle and stylish.
PANEL 5 — 110KB
Konomi faces the viewer/camera directly.
She is explaining the technical fact in a calm professional manner.
Konomi:
A monitor beside or behind her displays:
「1976年 当時の容量」
「5.25インチ FD」
「110 KB」
The number 110 KB should be visually prominent.
Tetsuo reacts with genuine surprise:
「今でしたら写真一枚でも入らないですね。」
His expression should communicate genuine amazement rather than comedy.
PANEL 6 — Konomi's PERSONAL JOKE
Konomi turns toward Tetsuo.
She has a mischievous smile.
Her tongue is slightly sticking out.
She looks playful and victorious.
Konomi:
Tetsuo stares blankly.
His eyes become small blank/dotted circles and his mouth hangs open.
Tetsuo:
「……」
This panel should end Page 1 with a strong deadpan comedic beat.
PAGE 2
Page 2 should feel slightly more expansive because it contains four larger panels.
PANEL 1 — APPLE II AND RAPID ADOPTION
Konomi is smiling professionally while pointing at a large monitor with a pointer.
The monitor presents a simple timeline/infographic:
「～1976年」
「ワープロなどに搭載」
「小規模な売れ行き」
→
「Apple II」
「Disk II 登場」
→
Include simplified historical computer illustrations rather than modern computers.
Konomi:
Tetsuo, impressed:
Konomi remains professional and explanatory in this panel.
Konomi turns toward Tetsuo.
She gives him a small-devil “ムフフ” expression.
She looks knowingly amused.
Konomi:
Tetsuo's eyes become simple horizontal lines.
His mouth opens in exhausted disbelief.
Tetsuo:
「……」
The humor should come from the contrast between her innocent-looking lecturer outfit and her increasingly personal teasing.
Do not make the pose vulgar or overtly sexual.
PANEL 3 — HALF-HEIGHT AND JAPANESE MANUFACTURERS
Konomi turns toward Tetsuo and returns to a serious explanatory mode.
She explains the technical and economic development.
Konomi:
Tetsuo looks thoughtful and serious.
Tetsuo:
Behind them, the monitor should show a clear technical/economic infographic:
「ドライブ薄型化」
「ハーフハイ」
→
「日本メーカー」
「市場シェア拡大」
→
「日米の貿易摩擦」
Use a simple historical-style graph or arrows.
This panel should be the most serious factual panel of Page 2.
PANEL 4 — FINAL JOKE
Konomi turns toward Tetsuo.
She gives a playful wink.
Her cheeks are slightly flushed.
Her tongue sticks out just slightly.
Her expression is mischievous and triumphant.
This is the strongest teasing expression on the entire page.
Konomi:
Tetsuo faces her with a flushed and shocked expression.
Tetsuo:
The final joke should be visually clear but tasteful.
No exaggerated sexual pose.
PAGE 2 — FACTUAL EXPLANATION AREA
Below the four manga panels, outside the comic frames, create a large clean educational explanation section.
Header:
Introductory sentence:
Then provide a concise factual explanation of:
5.25インチFDとは？
1976年9月20日、アメリカで5.25-inch floppy disk driveが登場
8-inch floppy disk technology
Apple II Disk II
Present the information as a clean Japanese technical infographic with small floppy-drive illustrations, timeline arrows, and simple diagrams.
The explanation area should look substantially more serious than the manga above it.
This contrast is intentional.
VISUAL COMPOSITION
Page 1:
Six panels with clear borders.
Panels 3 and 4 should have enough space for character interaction and facial expressions.
Panel 5 should emphasize the large “110 KB” information display.
Panel 6 should emphasize Konomi's mischievous expression and Tetsuo's blank reaction.
Page 2:
Four larger panels.
Panels 1 and 3 should contain technical infographic monitors.
Panels 2 and 4 should prioritize character int
