[Story] Indigo dyeing, a craft passed down in the Gofuku-cho district of Hinagami. As the fabric is lifted from the vat and exposed to the air, it shifts from yellow-green to a deep indigo—a beauty born of chemistry. In a workshop where this indigo-dyeing tradition has been handed down through generations, Kaori watches the precise moment the fabric turns blue upon contact with the air. While it is a traditional craft, the mechanism behind the color’s emergence is chemistry; I captured the exact instant the indigo transforms into blue. [Commentary] Since a scene of Kaori conducting a standard chemistry experiment wouldn't be very interesting, I consulted with Chappy and decided to focus on the theme of indigo dyeing instead. By incorporating chemistry into a traditional craft from the Hinokami region, the result has a certain visual appeal. Unlike my usual work, this was generated 100% by Chappy, so there is no specific prompt.
