Yokai Registry

People have always feared what they could not understand. A presence lurking in the darkness. A voice heard from a place where no one should be. Events that defy explanation. Names are given to them, their forms are drawn, and their traits are recorded. What once had no shape gradually takes on a clear identity as a “yokai.” To draw them is not merely to imagine them. It is to record what was already there as something that truly exists. The yokai one man continued to document are still recognized and cherished by people to this day.
