Study: Lightning Strike

[Scene] Kaori is moving through the shrine grounds when she senses the precursor to a lightning discharge; she tosses aside her umbrella, covers her ears, and drops to the ground. The 1,800 years of experience possessed by the deity she serves trigger a reflex to protect herself. Lightning strikes the lightning rod on the West Gate. Fortunately, the discharge isn't severe, and there appears to be no damage. [Commentary] I wanted to try depicting a lightning strike, so I quickly had lightning hit the gate of Hishin-jingu Shrine (located near the mountaintop, as seen in image 7). If I simply asked for a lightning strike, the result was image 6—massive damage. That was obviously too extreme, so image 5 depicts the lightning hitting the lightning rod with minimal damage. However, the sense of danger felt a bit weak, so image 4 shows her tossing her umbrella and taking a perfect defensive posture. Images 1 through 3 show her crouching even lower. Specifying the angle or position in too much detail tends to cause the image generation to fail, so I limited my instructions to just the action and posture.
