That same year, she also took on the spirits of 市杵島姫(Ichikishima-hime) and 木花咲耶姫(Konohana-sakuya-hime), establishing herself as the 巫(kannagi) for five goddesses. She once represented her prefecture at the National Sports Festival as the ace cyclist in road racing; in the rare hill-climb races she enters, she invariably wins, demonstrating ability on par with a national team representative. Her swordsmanship—fueled by the wisdom of the spirits—is formidable enough to instantly defeat a Kendo 7th-dan practitioner; she once bested a male National Sports Festival champion in a chance encounter with just a single glance. While she is effectively unrivaled globally, she has neither the time nor the interest to engage in sword duels.
