A little rakugo story ~Tanokyu~

While walking along a mountain path, Chiikoshi was nearly swallowed by a giant serpent that suddenly appeared. He quickly lied, saying, "I'm not human, I'm a tanuki (raccoon dog) who's good at shapeshifting." The serpent urged him to transform, and Chiikoshi, using a wig he had with him, transformed into a monk and a woman one after another. Completely convinced, the serpent suggested they tell each other what they disliked. When Chiikoshi replied, "I hate money," the serpent revealed his own weakness: "I hate tobacco tar and persimmon tannin."
