The Castle Town at Twilight: The Bridge of Waiting

There was an age-old legend surrounding the old bridge at the edge of the castle town: —If you wait here, the person dear to you will return. Reflecting the twilight sky upon its surface, the river flowed beneath the bridge where a young girl leaned against the railing, just as she did every day. Lady Luna stood beside her; though she had initially looked exasperated, her gaze softened as she watched that small back amidst the air, fresh and clear after the rain. The time spent waiting had not been in vain. Yet, there comes a moment when one must move forward. A quiet turning point was arriving there, upon the bridge bathed in the purple hues of dusk.
