The Showa-era hit song “Gin Gira Gin ni Sarigenaku.” A school uniform wrapped in silver tape, topped off with a cheap pair of sunglasses. It doesn’t matter if the costume is homemade once he steps onto the stage. Fueled by youth and sheer momentum, a student becomes a real star for just a few minutes at the school festival.
