How utterly charming that this website's administrators have maintained their adolescent tendency to see scandal in the most innocent of things, while somehow holding down a proper job.
Living in luxury within palace walls, Prince Siddhartha encounters the harsh realities of old age, sickness, and death. Abandoning his life of comfort, he endures years of ascetic struggle before finding the Middle Way. Under the Bodhi Tree, he attains enlightenment and becomes the Buddha, awakening to the truth that frees all beings from suffering.
