ミニシアター

The plight of local, small-scale theaters and mini-theaters: A wave of closures: Due to the rise of multiplex cinemas, aging facilities, redevelopment, and rising operating costs due to inflation, local movie theaters are continuing to close. Examples: A long-established movie theater in Osaka has closed, and major mini-theaters such as "Cine Libre Ikebukuro" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, "Shinjuku Cinema Qualite" in Shinjuku, and "Satsugeki" in Sapporo have all closed in quick succession.
