Mizuho-sama Returns to Hikami on the Ise Road

A snowy winter scene in the Nara Basin. Accompanied by several guards, the Hikami feudal lord returns from Osaka to Hikami along the Ise Kaido road, carrying a long sword, on horseback. This recreation depicts a scene from Japan's Azuchi-Momoyama period. [Model] Kaori (Amaterasu Shrine Maiden), age 18, bust 83cm, waist 50cm, hips 85cm. Her black hair with bangs hangs down to her waist and is tied in a ponytail at chest height with a crimson ribbon. [Shrine Maiden Costume] - Kimono: A single piece of thin white silk, tucked under the hakama. - Hakama: Light scarlet silk - Footwear: White tabi socks and white zori sandals - Weapon: She wears a sheathed Japanese sword (Muramasa) on her left hip. It is a magnificent sword with a long, slender, even curve, like those displayed in museums, measuring one meter in length including sheath and handle. The sheath is tied to the waist cord on the inside of her left arm near the base of the blade, extending directly behind her and over the horse's rump, best seen from the side. The 20cm-long hilt and 7cm-diameter tsuba (guard) are visible from the front of her waist. Several cavalrymen (samurai) dressed in period warrior attire follow behind (back right). One of them is carrying a "日神皇大神"(Hikami Kotaijin) flag. Across the road is a rural village and fields from that time, covered in a thin layer of winter snow. Smoke rises from cooking. Far in the distance beyond the village, Mount Katsuragi casts a wintry glow.
