Manifesto

A Bauhaus-inspired mixed media physical collage. The canvas is divided into perfect geometric rectangular proportions. A hand blowing a kiss is made from cut-out pieces of vintage black-and-white newspaper text. The lips are painted with thick, textured impasto oil paint. The flying kiss is represented by a real physical red thread stitched into the canvas. Highly detailed textures, clash of materials, modernist composition.
