Secret diary
"So, the only remaining clue is..." Dakinira glanced towards the dressing table in the neatly arranged room. It was the room of the daughter of a relatively wealthy merchant family in the lower town. The daughter had run away from home, and the family had come to consult Charliewood and Dakinira, the lucky priest and priestess who worked at the lower town chapel. They were both aware of their strange nicknames: the phantom thief priest and the thief priestess. They apparently thought it was better than relying on mere authorities or their underworld intelligence network. "We have no choice but to open it..." Dakinira unconsciously glanced around before crouching down in front of the dressing table drawer. She crouched for only a few seconds before standing up and opening the drawer. Inside was a luxurious yet cute diary. Surprisingly, the diary itself was also locked. Of course, such a key was practically useless to the thieving priestess. In a matter of seconds, Dakinira unlocked the door and opened the diary. "Querchuiop@!!" She let out an incomprehensible scream. In a matter of seconds, her face turned bright red, and she threw the diary down. Dakinira, who had read the contents instantly with speed, understood them just as quickly. "Wh-what's wrong, priestess?" Charlie Wood, her partner, the phantom thief priest, who had been questioning the servants, poked his head out the doorway in surprise. "You idiot!! Get out!!" Dakinira unleashed Charlie Wood's Force magic, and for some reason, she ran past him and out of the room. "W-what's going on, priestess? What did you find?" At that point, Charlie picked up the diary that had been thrown to the floor and began to decipher it. He did frown at times, but his experience showed. "Ah, um... Father?" After he finished deciphering the message, the girl's mother, who had followed him worriedly, called out. "Don't worry. Your daughter is safe. They eloped, but we have an idea of where they're going." He said forcefully to reassure the mother. "Oh... as long as she's alive, that's all that matters. I'm so relieved." The mother's heartfelt words of gratitude echoed through the ransacked room where her daughter had been.
