Oh, a lost person, perhaps?

The person I met in the Forest of Confusion, said to lead to the Demon King's castle, said this. "Try using your magic sense. If you follow the path with no reaction, you should be able to proceed." Who is this mysterious person? Thinking this, I asked a question. "Me? I'm just taking a moonlit stroll, not skipping overtime." I don't quite understand, but they don't seem hostile. I've heard there are friendly demons, so it's probably somewhere around there... "There they are! Over there!" Suddenly, armed monsters, seemingly demons, appear and surround me. Can I escape...? "There you are, you subordinate monsters! I'll help you out! Go and beat them to a pulp!" And so the battle began…
