A girl in a school uniform offering taro (satoimo/sweet potato) on the Mid-Autumn Moon, based on ancient customs. Today, September 17th, is the "Mid-Autumn Moon." Since this is also the potato harvest season, the 15th night of the 8th month of the lunar calendar (Mid-Autumn Moon) was also called "Potato Moon" because taro was offered as a prayer for a bountiful harvest. (On the thirteenth night of the ninth month of the lunar calendar, ripe chestnuts and edamame are offered, and it's also called "Chestnut Moon" or "Bean Moon.")
