Daughters of the Plaid Pattern (Governor\'s Daughters) Part 3

In keeping with the theme of ``check,\'\' I decided to make the clothes of the female characters in my book a check pattern, even though I usually have a hard time choosing ``plain colors.\'\' This is my well-known book, a marine adventure fantasy novel. “El Pirata Del Grimorio ~Pirate of the Grimoire~” (*See URL below) The heroine is Miss Isabelina de Obandes, a tomboyish Latin (modeled after Spain) governor\'s daughter. For some reason, a tartan check seemed to suit me better, so I tried that.I wanted it to be a little more yellow, but it ended up looking more like Burberry! The Government House, Miss Isabelina\'s home, is located in a colonial city modeled after Saint Domingue, the capital of Dominica, so the background is also a colonial-style port town.
