Detective of the Age of Exploration

My book is a fantasy x detective short story set in a different world with the Age of Discovery style. “Le Detective de Grimoire ~Spell Book Detective~” (*See URL below) Created the main character, a detective specializing in mysterious cases. A scene where you buy a magic book at a dark bookstore. She is half-Japanese, half-Japanese from the French model country and a native of Central and South America (New World), so she has a slightly unusual appearance with brown skin, curly brown hair, and blue eyes. The costume is a tricorn hat (a hat commonly worn by pirates), a long jacket, and a red and white checkered scarf in the style of the Age of Discovery. I really want it to be gray, but the color doesn\'t look right... Also, even though I say no, I really want to turn on the modern lights (^^;
