The setting sun streams in through the window, bathing the kitchen in a soft orange color. The kitchen was filled with the scent of vegetables and the faint scent of soup stock. “Mom, I said I would make dinner today, so you can rest!” The main dish is fried chicken, which is my first attempt. When the lights come on in the kitchen, it's time for the family to gather around the dinner table.
