Jactu and Schoen were painters from the eastern country of "Hino," located east of the Elven Empire. The two were sisters, but their artistic styles were vastly different. The younger sister, Schoen, studied under the first Schoen and excelled at still lifes of flowers and other subjects. She is said to have painted over 100,000 works in her lifetime, but she refused all commissions from royalty and nobility.
