Hibiki-san on the hill ⑦

In Maison Ikkoku, there is a fan fiction officially approved by the original author: "Beyond the Promise." Godai and Kyoko. Their daughter, Haruka. The process of her growing up as a child is captured in photographs. Loved by the two of them, she eventually grows into an adult. Godai gently closes the album. His hand, adorned with a golden ring on his ring finger, looks very old. He stands up, leaning on his cane, wearing mourning clothes. "Just for one day, please live longer than me." The promise he made to Kyoko during his proposal, has likely been fulfilled. Godai, leaning on his cane, begins to walk, gradually becoming younger, like his student self, and runs up the slope leading to Ikkoku-kan. There, he sees the familiar faces of the residents and a younger version of her, holding a broom. "Thank you for keeping your promise." I created that scene. Finally, I can rest in peace.
